Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Portugal: Q4 2024 iOS Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the iOS platform in Portugal saw intriguing trends in the carpooling and ridesharing sector. Leading the pack is Uber - Request a ride, which maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 4.5K and 8.5K. Despite a slight decline in weekly active users from 358K to 258K over the quarter, the app remained a popular choice.

Bolt: Request a Ride exhibited a steady performance, with downloads ranging from 4.4K to 6.8K weekly. The app's active user base was relatively stable, peaking at 350K in early December before dropping to 278K by the end of the year.

PinkRiders, a more niche player, experienced a dramatic spike in downloads, reaching 14.8K in late November, although it averaged much lower in other weeks.

The Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver app showed consistent download numbers around the 600-700 range, with active users increasing from 6.5K to over 10K mid-quarter before declining to 6.2K by the end of December.

Finally, Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery had stable download figures, averaging around 400-600 weekly. Its active user count remained fairly constant, closing the quarter with over 20K users.
